1. We the members of the Dive Industry of Sodwana Bay have formed an association whereby we will commit to increase our professionalism and thus improve the service we offer to an internationally acceptable standard.
   
2. We will establish an ethical code of conduct amongst our members, not only with each other, but with the general diving public.
   
3. We will establish an effective channel of communication between ourselves and the Kwa Zulu Natal Nature Conservation Service (formerly the Natal Parks Board) and thus have input into the overall management of the diving in Sodwana Bay.
   
4. We will establish an effective channel of communication between ourselves and the DOT and Manpower.
   
5. Although primarily created for the commercial operators in Sodwana, the association will be open to all members of the diving public subject to compliance with our constitution.
   
6. We will endeavor to promote Sodwana Bay as a complete destination.
