South African Foundrymen to attend GIFA '99.
The South African Institute of Foundrymen has organised two trips to GIFA '99 in Dussledorf.
This is the premier foundry exhibition held in Europe every two years and offers insights into new technology and developments in the foundry industry.
The tours comprise a technical tour and a standard GIFA tour.
The Technical Tour commences on Saturday, 06 June 1999, and ends on Sunday 13 June 1999. It includes two days of tours around foundries in the United Kingdom, before proceeding to Dusseldorf and GIFA 99 on Tuesday 08 June 1999. This expected to be a very informative tour, providing South African foundrymen with insight into the activities of their counterpartds in Europe. Places are very limited!
The standard GIFA 99 Tour commences on Friday, 11 June 1999. Participants will fly into Dusseldorf, via Heathrow and spend the following 3 days at the GIFA exhibition.
It is anticipated that the few postions available on these tours will be filled quickly.
