Wine Purification Division

RSE Projects, through research and development, have added the Wine Purification Division to their stable.  This division designs and manufactures wine purification equipment (Filtration and VA Removal) for use in the Wine Industry using a combination of available technologies.

VA Removal

One of the most talked about processes in the Wine Industry at present is the Volatile Acidity reduction process.  RSE Projects manufactures the VA Removal equipment used in the South African Wine industry.  So far our equipment has processed over 1 million litres of wine adding both value and quality.

The designed equipment conforms to all European and American standards for process equipment, and all components used in the manufacture of the equipment are considered food grade.

This process does not harm the wine in any way and in many instances, the taste of the wine has improved considerably.

There are several sized plants available from 500 l/hr to 3000 l/hr.  All plants are fully skid mounted and mobile.  Fully automatic systems are available if required.

Typical reduction levels of VA are 30% on a single pass.   The wine can be processed at temperatures between 12° and 20°C.

Agents Required for VA Removal Process

We are currently interested in expanding this business into the European, Australian, North and South American Wine Industries and we are looking for agents to market this technology.  Please contact us for further details if interested.

Wine Filtration

RSE Projects also manufacture microfiltration and ultrafiltration plants for the filtration of wine.  This technology overcomes the traditional shortcomings of conventional filtration technologies used presently.  It is highly efficient and very economical.  We manufacture several sized plants.
