DUAL-MEDIA PRESSURE SAND FILTERS

RSE Projects also manufactures a range of dual-media pressure sand filters.   The filters utilise two layers of carefully graded sand for improved particle size removal.  Typical particle size removal is as low as 10-15 microns on a single pass.

Other types of filters include the following:

Activated Carbon Filter
pH correction filter
Iron removal filter

All filters are manufactured in South Africa for a working pressure of 300 kPa.  They are available in either manual or automatic configurations, with the automatic units being PLC controlled.  Automatic versions are available in two configurations - with either hydraulically actuated diaphragm valves or pneumatically actuated butterfly valves.

Flow rates from as low as 1000 l/hr to in excess of 120 m3/hr are available in our range of Sand Filter models.

Generally the vessels are manufactured for 300 kPa operating pressure according to general engineering standards.  Should coding to ASME VIII, or any other design code be required, then this can also be arranged.
