Training and Work Centre
1. INTRODUCTION
Training, in various forms and covering various subjects, has been part of
MES for quite some time. The vision for one training department that co-ordinates
and facilitates the training for the whole organisation -including personnel
and the seven different projects – arose and therefore training became a project
on its own.

- A work centre where students gain the necessary skills training and experience.
The centre would also provide workspace and equipment which entrepreneurs
can rent when they want to start-up their own business.
- A strong follow-up centre counselling students throughout the training
period and supporting and encouraging them in their jobs or enterprises.
- A job finding centre in partnership with other job placing agencies helping
to place potential job seekers
- Development of a life skills manual especially designed for the homeless
- CONCLUSION
The training department will do everything to equip trainees with relevant
information and skills and give all the necessary support, guidance and encouragement
to ensure that every trainee who completes the course will be in a favourable
position to find employment or be the proud owner of an enterprise.
