There are two important things to bear in mind before we even begin. Firstly, God is an all Loving Father who loves us all unconditionally and eternally, no matter what the circumstances. Secondly, God created every single living entity, whether on the earth, in the spirit world or on any other planet or realm that contains living forms of whatever form, shape or size. He created them all and He created them out of Love.
In the times of the Bible and even before there were evil spirits as there are today. In those days however they had a collective name. Just as you have a herd of cattle, or a swarm of bees, in those days there was such a thing as a satan of evil spirits. Just as we today would say there is a swarm approaching or the herd is out to pasture only speaking of the collective without stating what the collective is, in those days it would be said the satan is here or if someone did something wrong under the direction of several evil spirits, it was the work of the satan. Not speaking of a single spirit but of the collective of evil spirits. As time went by the satan, of which it was spoken, became understood of as an individual as opposed to the collective as it originally meant. It gained physical attributes - horns, tail, hooves, trident and several other bits and pieces - the important aspect to remember here at all times, the individual such as satan or the devil never actually existed and never will. It is very convenient for us to blame any wrong we do on some unseen invisible force spurring us on. Satan made me do it! We should rather take responsibility for our own wrongdoing and admit we did wrong than try to pass it off as an influence from the devil.
It would be an insult to God's greatness, mercy, kindness and love to even consider for a moment that He would allow one of His very dear children to be eternally evil with no hope of progress or redemption.
