and sent by the gods to live amongst men
The gods gave you a sealed jar as gift
but eventually your curiosity prove too great

You had to break the seal, didn't you,
releasing sorrow, disease and conflict
What were the gods thinking? Or was this their plan?

But not all is bad, men gained mortal female companionship
and all "gifts" good as well as bad
