Minerva

Minerva: Roman Goddess of Wisdom

You are wise like the sacred owl.
The Romans worshiped you on Capitoline Hill,
together with Jupiter and Juno, the Queen of the Sky.

Your military skills are renowned.
The Roman army dedicates it spoils of war to you,
so you don armor to please them.

Yet you stay a maiden
and the patron of writing, music, science and crafts.
You give wise council to all who needs advice.

The last surviving books of the prophecies of Sybil
was kept in the three Temples on Capitoline Hill,
to be consulted in times of crises.
But all was destroyed
when the Capitoline was burned.
