GREEK
AND ROMAN GODDESSES
The ancient Greeks were the great mythmakers
of Europe. Their stories illustrate life's truths using
Gods and Goddesses, heroes and villains, oracles, monsters,
giants and the forces of nature as the main characters.
Recent archeological discoveries are proving that there
is more reality
to Greek mythology than previously believed.
The Greek Goddess is equal in stature, importance and
power to her male counterpart. They are strong and spirited
women, each with their own agenda.
The Romans were so impressed with Greek mythology that
they assimilated many Greek Goddesses into their own
mythology, albeit sometimes with name changes and adaptations
to the plots. |
