Hourly Rates
Standard hourly rate: R350
Hourly rate for specialized work (translation, extensive editing/ rewriting etc): R400

Per Project Rates
Writing of Press releases (standard A4 2 page): R650 - R1250 (depending on research required)
Writing of Speech (3 to 5 minutes): R500 (depending on research required, topic etc)
Writing of feature articles (up to 2500 words): R1.50 - R2 a word depending on the complexity of the work. (includes research and writing)
Writing brochure/ pamphlet copy (A4 folded 6 page): R600 - R750
Event planning: hourly rate plus expenses (catering etc)
Media relations: hourly rate
Scriptwriting (television/ video/ radio): R300 per minute of script

Miscellaneous writing and editing work (ad copy etc) is charged at the standard hourly rate, unless otherwise specified.

Payment is due at the end of the month in which the work was completed.
