Freelance Public Relations Experience

2000 – present – Freelance: As a freelance since 2000, I have taken on various clients for specific PR projects. This has included designing, writing and editing of corporate material including brochures, posters, media releases, books etc, writing for company Web sites, designing and writing company newsletters and general writing and editing services to a number of clients. I have also designed full PR campaigns for clients, including large national Public Relations firms.

2000 – 2003 – Liquid Light Productions: Regional Promotion Co-ordinator – I was responsible for all Eastern Cape promotions for Liquid Light. This included sourcing promoters, briefing and training them, managing the promotions in the region, writing reports on the promotions and liaising with clients at the local level. Promotions included Canderel, Whiskas, Pedigree, M & Ms, Lurpak and others.

1999 and 2006 – Text 100 Public Relations:  Freelance PR Writer – I wrote press releases and opinion pieces for various clients including 24.com.
