MANAGEMENT
Kenneth Kaplan, the director and driving force of the company, has wide experience as a Producer/Director of drama and documentary in film and television industries world-wide. After completing the Graduate Film Program at New York University, he worked as Field Producer on the Emmy Award winning TV newsmagazine South Africa Now. Kenneth has directed numerous Short Film Dramas and has worked as Production and Creative Executive for South Africa's leading independent Producer and Distributor, Anant Singh. With Distant Horizon, he has overseen the production and delivery of feature films in Hong Kong and Los Angeles. These include, CRY, THE BELOVED COUNTRY (Miramax) and Jackie Chan's POLICE STORY I & II (New Line Cinema) and TWIN DRAGONS (Miramax). Most recent has been the international version of Tsui Hark's BLACK MASK, distributed worldwide by Alliance Le Monde. Kenneth serves as CEO and President of Bioskope Pictures.
