KAT
AND THE KINGS KAT AND THE KINGS, winnner of the 1999 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, will become the first new musical of the 1999-2000 season when it begins previews on August 6 at the Cort Theatre.
A Television Documentary: A look behind the scenes at David Kramer and Taliep Petersen's South African musical leading up to the U.S. Broadway Premier on August 19th at the Cort Theatre. Winner of the 1999 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, KAT AND THE THE KINGS, had its world premier in Cape Town in 1995 before moving to London's West End where it won two Olivier Awards.
