CURRENT PROJECTS
Bioskope Filmworks will kick off its production slate with (Horror Feature Film) Directed by Kenneth Kaplan. The project was financed and principle photography started on March 15, 1999. (see attached press release and get the latest pictures and update on completion of shoot) (Television Documentary) A look behind the scenes at David Kramer and Taliep Petersen's South African musical leading up to the U.S. Broadway Premier on August 19th at the Cort Theatre. Winner of the 1999 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, KAT AND THE THE KINGS, had its world premier in Cape Town in 1995 before moving to London's West End where it won two Olivier Awards. FLATLANDS (Feature Film Screenplay) Set in the inner-city ghetto of Johannesburg, South Africa, the story follows a retired streetfighter as he struggles to confront his violent past in order to survive in a city already dubbed "the murder capital of the world." Bioskope Pictures is also developing a number of documentary titles for Television production over the next year. Attached Synopsis: FLATLANDS |
