Some info. on our Dining Car Built by SAR Pretoria workshops, it entered traffic on 19th September 1929 as L-19 1st Class suburban coach no. 4841. In June 1937 it was converted for use with the then new electric stock and became 1st Class suburban trailer 10114 type L-27-CT. Its classification was later changed, first to L-27-CT, then L-19-T, this purely for accounting purposes as there were no modifications done. It was sold at auction in August 1986 for the princely sum of R 580 and took its last trip to the dam.
