Our most popular and fastest growing training program is our PRIVATE INVESTIGATION course

The course, entitled " Investigation and solving of crime and civil matters" is a forty hour, five day program (08h00-16h00).

This course is accredited by Unisa (University of South Africa) and the Technikon, Pretoria. Upon successful completion of the course each candidate will receive a formal certificate from these institutions.

Course co-ordinator

Our course co-ordinator is Brigadeer (retd) Hennie van Rooyen, who has been appointed as a Subject Matter Expert at IBM,South Africa within the Criminal Justice system.
He holds a Masters Degree in Police Science from Unisa after submitting his thesis on Criminalistics - The science of investigation process.

He is the author of "Crime Investigation" and "Physical Evidence in Crime Investigation" and of various Study Guides at the Technikon SA and Technikon Pretoria.
Brig. van Rooyen has also been a moderator and examiner for 10 years in the subject of Crime Investigation at both institutions.
He was the Project Leader of the establishment of the Detective Academy within the South African Police Service and is now a part time lecturer at the Technikon ,Pretoria.

Background

Mr van Rooyen has the following experience :

* 15 years field experience as a South African Police Service detective
* 4 years as a manager of a specialised investigation unit within the SAPS Detective Service.
* 23 years within the SAPS
* Retired with the rank of Brigadeer.
