The four founders of Dam Rail have over fifty years experience in running railroads. This experience is both on the management and operations side of railroading. Other directors bring experience in Tourism, local government, media and security Four of the founders own property next to the Dam and therefore have a vested interest in retaining the railroad. Colin Roberts - Managing Director : Retired Senior Manager/Consultant : has been involved in railway management and operations both in and outside South Africa for over 14 years plus extensive experience in the management of other forms of transport. Colin has been a property owner in Kosmos for over 21 years. Gwen Bhunu : A key account manager for Plessey South Africa. A Partner in G&G Printers & Sinage and Marentia Construction. She has a commerce background with career experience in sales and marketing, business development and finance. She resides in Schoemanville. Mmoni Yabo : Currently an owner of Tour Operator OPAD, and a partner in Afrobase Holdings. Her extensive experience includes Tourism Marketing, Business Development, Business Counseling, and Industrial Marketing. She is a member of the Business Womens Association and the Prosperity Club. Andy Grudko : Director of varied companies (security, mining, publishing) for 21 years : Semi retired. Andy is resident at Pecanwood and brings a wealth of small business management and security experience to the business. Geoff Pethick : Railway Consultant : Former Deputy Chairman of the Heritage Railway Association, operator of Trains Galore charter trains and consultant to Sandstone Steam Railway. Geoff has 17 years experience in running and setting up railways to contribute to Dam Rail. Stewart Wakeling : Retired Professional Engineer with 45 years experience, including mining and railways. A resident of de Rust.
